Fave Trail: Passportes route down to Chatel, actually anywhere in the Alps. 
I've ridden mountain bikes since 1991 and raced in various disciplines, including road and track as a teenager. Started off racing by joining Catford CC, but got bored with road racing. Found MTBing again in 2002 and I've not looked back since. Have been to the Alps a few times now and love the place. Not to sure what the fuss is about with Glentress? If your gonna buy a Downhill or All Mountain bike at least ride it like one or let the guys on the XC machines past!
Just started a bit of touring now which is great. Tried some Cyclocross and loved it, so going to do a few more races over this winter. Getting into a bit of short course XC racing which should help get the speed up now the endurance is there.
16/01/10: Broken Collar Bone so off the bike for a bit. Have to train on the turbo.
